Mentoring

For ages 13 to 21

We stand with our young people as they move through adolescence and out into adulthood. Mentors are trained in mentoring and engage with young people long term to help:

Value to be Restored,

Identity to be Secured

and Purpose to be Explored.

Mentors are volunteers from local churches and we provide a mentoring contract to ensure clear guidelines and expectations between the mentor and mentee. Mentees under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian to sign the mentoring contract. All of our team are Access NI checked.

Typically mentoring takes place once or twice a month in an informal setting (e.g. a coffee shopfor a minimum of 12 months - but there is flexibility for the mentor and mentee to agree the location and duration of each session.

Mentoring works really well as a follow on to counselling. Mentoring is offered free of charge.
