Trauma Therapy For Young People

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds - Psalm 147:3

Our therapy service supports young people aged 13–25 who have experienced difficult life events - including bullying, rejection, abandonment, attachment wounds, traumatic loss, violence and emotional, physical or sexual abuse. These experiences often birth anxiety, shatter self-worth, and lead to a range of maladaptive coping strategies and deeply held beliefs of being unsafe, unwanted or unlovable.

At the heart of our work is a professional, compassionate and attuned therapeutic relationship where young people can safely explore their experiences without judgement. Together, we work towards restoring a felt sense of safety, self-worth, and hope, supporting healing and lasting emotional wellbeing. We use a range of age appropriate approaches including sand-tray, creative techniques, EMDR as well talking therapy.

We are based in Ballymena, Northern Ireland (click on a referral link above to book)
